In a major development, Mumbai Indians have traded their star player, Cameron Green, to Royal Challengers Bangalore for a substantial sum of INR 17.5 CR ahead of the IPL 2024 auction.
Mumbai Indians made the necessary move to create room in their squad and budget, paving the way for the acquisition of Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans.
Reports suggest Mumbai Indians secured Hardik Pandya for a substantial sum of INR 15 Crore. Following the addition of Cameron Green, Royal Challengers Bangalore now has a remaining budget of only INR 23.25 Crore.
Notably, on Sunday, November 26, Gujarat Titans first announced the retention of Hardik Pandya during the retention and released players list announcement.
Surprisingly, a few hours later, it was confirmed that Hardik Pandya had been successfully traded to Mumbai Indians in a monetary exchange trade.
