‘Bradman of T20 Cricket’ – Shaheen Afridi Gives Huge Compliment to Mohammad Rizwan
Shaheen Shah Afridi called Mohammad Rizwan as ‘Bradman’ of T20 Cricket.
The Pakistan cricket team came under fire after suffering a seven-wicket defeat against the third-string New Zealand cricket team in the 3rd T20I of the five-match series at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
While the team lost the match, Mohammad Rizwan achieved a significant milestone, becoming just the second Pakistan player after Babar Azam to cross the 3000-run mark in T20 internationals.
Former Pakistan skipper and fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi wrote a special post for his teammate Mohammad Rizwan, congratulating him on achieving this milestone and even going as far as to claim that he is the ‘Bradman of T20 cricket.’
Here is what the tall left-arm pacer wrote on Twitter:
“Cheers to Muhammad Rizwan – the Bradman of T20 cricket and Pakistan’s SuperMan for hitting 3,000 T20I runs! 🏏🌟 Your impact has transformed the game and silenced the skeptics. Keep soaring, champion! You’re an inspiration to many. @imrizwanpak”
Earlier, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Iftikhar Ahmed also organised a mini party to celebrate Mohammad Rizwan’s milestone by cutting a cake, with other teammates present. However, once the video went viral on social media, the team received backlash from fans for prioritising individual milestones over the team.
