Pakistan captain Babar Azam has sparked debate after being seen leaving the team hotel for a family dinner following their close defeat to India in the T20 World Cup 2024.

According to a Pakistani journalist, Babar Azam, along with team manager Wahab Riaz and assistant bowling coach Azhar Mahmood, showered and left the team hotel for family dinner.

“Many Pakistani cricketers were depressed, and they didn’t have dinner last night. However, BOBY (Babar Azam), Azhar, and Wahab Riaz went out for a DAWAT (dinner) just one hour after the defeat against India,” claimed the Pakistan journalist.

This revelation has caused a stir, with reports suggesting the remaining players remained in their rooms, presumably dejected after suffering their second consecutive loss in the tournament.
