Australia Beat England To Win Record-Extending 7th Title
Alyssa Healy produced a magnificent outing in the Women's World Cup final against England, scoring 170 off just 138 deliveries.
Australia Women, on Sunday, claimed a 7th Women’s World Cup title as they defeated England by 71 runs at Hagley Oval on Sunday.
Alyssa Healy scored 170 with the bat as Australia posted 356/5 in the scheduled 50 overs. England had a tough task of chasing down this massive score as Natalie Sciver, who scored an unbeaten 148 off 121 balls tried her best to keep England in the game but they kept losing wickets throughout the innings which ended at 285 in 43.4 overs.
Australian pacer Megan Schutt (2/42) bowled a brilliant new-ball spell removing last match centurion Danielle Wyat (4) and Tammy Beaumont (27) before leg-spinner Alana King (3/64) picked three crucial wickets including that of England skipper Heather Knight (26).
Many cricketers and fans took to Twitter to applaud Australia on their 7th World Cup win.

Former England pacer Isa Guha also took to Twitter to applaud Sciver. “Massively feeling for Sciver but well deserved Australia. T20 and ODI World Cup winners – with 3 players missing we now start talking about them as the greatest of all time,” tweeted Guha.
