Siddique, Simranjeet Singh Restrict Pakistan to 146

Pakistan were rattled early as Saim Ayub fell for a duck, his third in a row, off Junaid Siddique in the very first over. Siddique then dismissed Sahibzada Farhan cheaply, leaving Pakistan struggling at 5-2. Fakhar Zaman, however, turned the tide with a brisk 36-ball fifty, adding 61 runs with captain Agha Salman.

Salman’s 20 off 27 was steady, but UAE clawed back as Simranjeet Singh (3-26) and Siddique (4-18) ripped through the middle order.

Hasan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah fell in quick succession, and Pakistan slumped again. A late cameo from Shaheen Afridi, 29 not out off 14 balls, pushed Pakistan to a competitive 146-9.

Shaheen Afridi, Abrar Ahmed Seal the Deal

Shaheen Afridi struck early in the chase, removing opener Alishan Sharafu for 12. Spinners Abrar Ahmed (2-13) and Saim Ayub also chipped in as UAE stumbled to 37-3 inside the powerplay.

Rahul Chopra’s fighting 35 and Dhruv Parashar’s 20 gave UAE hope with a 48-run stand, but Agha Salman and Haris Rauf (2-19) broke through at the right time.

Shaheen returned to pick up another wicket, while Abrar wiped out the tail. UAE folded for just 105 in 17.4 overs, handing Pakistan a 41-run victory and a spot in the Super Four.
