The win was built on a blistering innings from Abhishek Sharma and a clinical bowling performance led by Kuldeep Yadav.

Batting first, India posted 168-6 in 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma was the star, smashing 75 off 37 balls with six fours and five sixes.

He shared a 77-run opening stand in six overs with Shubman Gill, who scored 29 off 19 deliveries.

India’s innings slowed after Abhishek’s dismissal, with Rishad Hossain (2-27), Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Mustafizur Rahman picking up key wickets and keeping the total under check.

During the chase, Jasprit Bumrah set the tone by dismissing opener Tanzid Hasan cheaply.

Bangladesh struggled to maintain momentum despite a 51-ball 69 from Saif Hassan, who hit three fours and five sixes. Parvez Hossain Emon contributed 21 off 19 balls, but wickets at crucial stages derailed their efforts.

Kuldeep Yadav led India’s spin attack brilliantly, claiming 3-18, including the wickets of Parvez Hossain Emon and Rishad Hossain.

Varun Chakravarthy (2-29) and Axar Patel (1-37) also troubled the middle-order, while Tilak Varma sealed the game as Bangladesh were bowled out for 127 in 19.3 overs.
