He explained that Kohli and Rohit hold a special emotional bond with Indian fans, one that translates into packed stands wherever they play.
Chopra dismissed arguments about high ticket prices or inconvenient match timings. According to him, if Kohli or Rohit were part of the squad, attendance would have doubled or even tripled, regardless of other factors.
He added that Virat alone has the ability to fill stadiums, highlighting how his mere presence lifts the atmosphere. The same applies to Rohit, whose long tenure as captain made him one of the most loved faces in Indian cricket.
