Rahul Tewatia‘s form came back in the match against SunRisers Hyderabad on Saturday. Rajasthan Royals finally won the match after four consecutive defeats, thanks to Rahul Tewatia.

However, at first, it looked like they wouldn’t survive in the match as SunRisers Hyderabad had reduced them to 78 for 5 while defending 158. But then, the hero of the match, Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag made an unbeaten stand of 85 runs to ensure the unbelievable victory of their side.

Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag changed the environment in the last five overs when their side needed 65 runs. In the 16th over of Khaleel Ahmed, Riyan Parag smashed a six and stole 11 runs in that over. The match turned upside down when the duo stole 18 runs in the 17th over of Sandeep Sharma. Riyan Parag smashed two fours and Tewatia smashed a six in that over.

In the next over of Rashid Khan, Tewatia hit three fours to bring the match by their side. Now only 22 runs were needed in the last 2 overs.

In the 20th over of Khaleel Ahmed, Riyan Parag hit another six and helped his side in marking a spectacular victory. Tewatia remained unbeaten on 45 off 28 balls while Parag remained unbeaten on 42 off 26 balls.

Virender Sehwag Hailed Rahul Tewatia

Just after the match ended, former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to appreciate Tewatia for his sensational innings. He also hailed Parag for his performance.
