Ruturaj Gaikwad has been named as captain for the Asian Games 2023 as India have announced a second-string squad for the prestigious tournament. The Asian Games will be played in China between September 23-October 8.
Due to a scheduling conflict with the ODI World Cup, which is set to begin on October 5, the Asian Games will not include first-choice players who are vying for a spot in the World Cup squad.
