Record tumbles every time Rashid Khan comes to bowl. The Afghanistan ace spinner was at it again on Tuesday, August 30 as he went on to become the second-highest wicket-taker in the history of the T20Is.
The leg-spinner surpassed the New Zealand pacer Tim Southee to achieve the landmark. The 23-year-old had 112 wickets in the format before the Afghanistan vs Bangladesh clash and with three wickets against the Shakib Al Hasan-led side, he took his tally to 115 wickets.
The star leggie is now only behind Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan, who currently has 122 scalps in the quickest format of the game.

As far as the match is concerned, Afghanistan decimated Bangladesh by seven wickets to become the first team to qualify for the Super 4 stage of the 2022 Asia Cup.
The Afghan bowling unit seemed to have started where they left off against Sri Lanka. The spin duo of Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan jolted the Bangladesh batting order with three-wicket hauls and restricted them to 127 runs from 20 overs.
In reply, Afghanistan rode on Ibrahim Zadran (42* off 41) and Najibullah Zadran (43* off 17) belligerent knocks to pull off a sensational seven wickets victory over Bangladesh.
