Talking about his international career, he made his Test debut by playing against England in Nottingham in 2018. Pant has so far scored 814 runs in 13 Tests at an average of 38.76. 159* is his best score in Test Matches.
In his early days of international cricket, Pant has held many records. He had overtaken Dhoni with 51 catches and two stumps in 11 Tests. Dhoni achieved this feat in 15 Tests. From then on it was said that Rishabh Pant is the rightful successor of Dhoni.
