‘Iss Sajjan Ko Kya Takleef Hai Bhai’: Fans Troll Kevin Pietersen For His Hindi Tweet in Hindi After Toss in India vs England Ahmedabad Test
Kevin Pietersen batsman has been a busy man on the social media platform ever since the ongoing four-match Test series started this month.
Kevin Pietersen has been a busy man ever since team England arrived India for the Test, T20I and ODI series. He keeps sharing his sarcastic tweets, that too in hindi to keep his fans entertained.
Pietersen was at it again on Wednesday when England won the toss against India for the ongoing pink-ball Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. As soon as the toss went Joe Root‘s way, Pietersen took to Twitter to have some fun.
Pointing out the importance of toss, Pietersen posted a sarcastic tweet and wrote:
“Oops india, asha karta hoon ki yeh, toss jeeto match jeeto wala wicket na ho.” (Hope this is not a win-toss win-match wicket.)
Actually, the first two Tests of the 4-Match series were won by the team winning the toss. It would not be wrong if one would say that toss had a great impact on previous two games’ results where the pitch started deteriorating right from the first day. India had won a toss in the second Test and went on to win the game by 317 runs.
During the first day of the third Test of the ongoing England’s tour of India in Ahmedabad, India bowled out England for 112 in 48.4 overs after visiting captain Joe Root won the toss and elected to bat.
England’s shambolic batting performance made the pitch seem like a rank-turner from Day 1 but it wasn’t the case. It is worth mentioning that the visiting batsmen continually failed to read the length of the ball to the extent that they were seen playing back on fuller deliveries.
For hosts, Axar Patel was the man of tha show as he has taken 6-wicket haul in the Day-Night Test. With this, he became the very first player to achieve this feat in the Day-Night Test. The left-arm spinner, who had taken a fifer on his debut in the second Test, picked up 6 wickets for just 38 runs. Senior spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also did well and picked up three wickets. Ishant Sharma, who was playing his 100th Test match also picked one wicket. And as England struggled with the bat, the Indians decided to troll Pietersen.
