IPL 2020 Purple Cap: Kagiso Rabada Wins Purple Cap, Jasprit Bumrah Stays Second in The Tally

Kagiso Rabada became the purple cap holder of IPL 2020. South African pacer took 30 wickets in 17 matches at a strike rate of 13.13 and average of 18.26.

Delhi Capitals’ pacer Kagiso Rabada becomes the ‘purple cap holder’ of the Dream11 IPL 2020. He wins the Purple Cap after his main competitor for the title, who was Mumbai Indians pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who remained wicketless in the IPL 2020 final against DC in Dubai.

The South African pacer finished the season with 30 wickets to his name and remain three wickets ahead of Bumrah in the highest-wicket taker race.

Rabada took 30 wickets in 17 matches at a strike rate of 13.13 and average of 18.26. Jasprit Bumrah, on the other hand, was second in the race of purple cap. He took 27 wickets in 15 matches at a strike rate of 13.33 and average of 14.96.

Trent Boult of Mumbai Indians was third in the race with 25 wickets in 15 matches. He bowled brilliantly in the season and has proven his worth.

Anrich Nortje of Delhi Capitals is fourth in the tally with 22 wickets in 16 matches. Yuzvendra Chahal of Royal Challengers Bangalore is fifth with 21 wickets in 15 matches.
