Fast-bowling all-rounder Muhammad Shahzad went viral after recreating Hardik Pandya’s famous shrug pose, the one the Indian star made after lifting the T20 World Cup in Barbados last year.

Shahzad posed with the trophy in front of him, shoulders lifted, mimicking Pandya’s iconic image that has since become a symbol of swagger in Indian cricket.

Pakistan’s campaign was almost flawless. After edging out Australia by one run in a thrilling semifinal, they dominated the final, posting 132 before bowling out Kuwait for just 93.

Abbas Afridi’s 11-ball 52 powered Pakistan to a big total, while Shahzad led the bowling charts with seven wickets in the tournament.

Interestingly, the only loss Pakistan suffered in the event came against India during the group stage, which made Shahzad’s celebration even more talked about.

Shahzad, 21, has represented Pakistan at the U-19 level and is seen as one of the bright young fast-bowling all-rounders in the domestic circuit.
