The ICC had earlier announced a record-breaking prize pool of USD 13.88 million (around ₹122.5 crore) for the 2025 tournament, the highest ever in women’s cricket. As champions, India will receive USD 4.48 million (₹39.55 crore) directly from the ICC.

South Africa, the runners-up, will take home USD 2.24 million (₹19.77 crore), while the losing semi-finalists are set to earn USD 1.12 million (₹9.89 crore) each. The ICC also awarded USD 250,000 (₹2.2 crore) as a participation fee to every team, along with USD 34,314 (₹30.29 lakh) for each group-stage win.

India won three matches in the group stage, earning an additional ₹90.87 lakh, which takes their total ICC earnings to ₹42.66 crore.

In recognition of the team’s historic achievement, the BCCI is planning a massive bonus of ₹125 crore for the players and support staff. With this addition, the total prize amount for the victorious Indian side rises to ₹167.66 crore – the highest ever payout for a women’s cricket team.
