Rohit was back in full swing at Shivaji Park, preparing for India’s upcoming three-match ODI series in Australia starting October 19.
He trained alongside former teammates Abhishek Nayar and Dhawal Kulkarni, facing fast deliveries in rigorous net sessions lasting nearly two hours.
Despite recently being replaced as India’s ODI captain by Shubman Gill, Rohit’s dedication is clear. He worked on controlled shots, footwork, and defensive pushes, focusing on adjusting to Australia’s pace-friendly conditions.
Local players, including young Mumbai batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi, also bowled in the nets and observed his session.
The 38-year-old last played for India in the ICC Champions Trophy final against New Zealand in February, leading the team to a historic title win.
