IND vs WI 2025: KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja Near Major Milestones Ahead of 2nd Test
Both KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja are poised to achieve personal milestones as India aim to seal the series against West Indies following their dominant win in the opener.
KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja are on the verge of achieving significant career milestones in Test cricket as the team prepares for the second Test against West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium from October 10 to 14.
In the first Test in Ahmedabad, India registered a commanding innings-and-140-run victory. The match saw three Indian centurions, with Rahul and Jadeja playing key roles in the batting lineup.
KL Rahul scored his 11th Test century, taking his career tally to 3,889 runs, and is now just 111 runs short of the 4,000-run mark in Test cricket.
Ravindra Jadeja, who struck an unbeaten 104, notched up his sixth Test century and was named ‘Player of the Match’ for his all-round performance, including a strong bowling effort. Jadeja now has 3,990 Test runs, needing just 10 more to reach the 4,000 milestone.
If both players continue their form, they could join the elite 4,000-run club during the upcoming second Test in Delhi.
