Hardik Pandya reached a major milestone in the Asia Cup 2025 Super Fours clash against Pakistan in Dubai, becoming India’s second-highest wicket-taker in T20Is.
The all-rounder claimed his 97th wicket, moving past Yuzvendra Chahal (96). He achieved the feat by dismissing Fakhar Zaman, who had been promoted to open after Saim Ayub’s poor run of three consecutive ducks. Pandya outfoxed Fakhar with a slower delivery in his second over, forcing an edge that was cleanly taken by wicketkeeper Sanju Samson.
