IND vs PAK: “Not Out!” Fakhar Zaman Explodes at Coach Mike Hesson Over Controversial Call
Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman was seen complaining to coach Mike Hesson after his controversial dismissal against India in the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash.
The high-voltage India vs Pakistan Super Four clash at the Asia Cup 2025 delivered drama even before the halfway mark. Pakistan, batting first, lost their first wicket in controversial fashion when Fakhar Zaman was given caught behind off Hardik Pandya.
The left-hander looked shocked by the decision, and replays split opinions. While the umpire raised his finger after India appealed, Pakistan fans on social media erupted, calling the decision unfair and accusing the umpires of favouring India.
But the story didn’t end on the field. Reports from the ground confirmed that Fakhar Zaman was later spotted in the dressing room having a heated exchange with Pakistan coach Mike Hesson.
Eyewitnesses said Zaman looked visibly upset and was animatedly pointing towards the middle, as if complaining about the umpiring. Hesson, who was seen listening patiently, tried to calm him down, but the frustration on Zaman’s face was clear.
