Samson smashed a fiery 56 off 45 balls in Abu Dhabi, helping India post 188 and setting up a 21-run win. His knock, packed with three sixes and three fours, came at a crucial stage when India needed stability after an early setback.
What makes the feat special is that no other Indian wicketkeeper has won more than one Player of the Match award in T20Is. MS Dhoni and Rishabh Pant, despite their long careers, never crossed that mark.
