The Men in Blue will enter the competition as defending champions, having won the last Asia Cup in 2023.
The 15-player squad for the tournament was announced last month. Test captain Shubman Gill returned to the T20I setup as vice-captain after more than a year.
India will begin their campaign against hosts UAE on September 10 in Dubai.
