UP T20 League 2025 Final: Kashi Rudras Beat Meerut Mavericks by 8 Wickets to Clinch Second Title

Kashi Rudras lifted their second Uttar Pradesh T20 League trophy with a dominant eight-wicket win over Meerut Mavericks in the final. Batting first, Meerut Mavericks were restricted to 144 for 9 in 20 overs.

Prashanth Chaudhary top scored with 37 from 29 balls, while Ritik Vats made 18 off 12. Akshay Dubey and Divyansh Rajput chipped in with 17 and 18 respectively.

The rest of the batting struggled against disciplined bowling. Shivam Mavi was the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 24. Kartik Yadav also took 2 wickets, while Sunil Kumar claimed 2 for 41.

Chasing 145, Su Kashi Rudras made light work of the target, finishing at 148 for 2 in just 15.4 overs. Skipper Karan Sharma smashed 65 off 31 balls with 10 fours and 2 sixes.

He was well supported by Abhishek Goswami, who stayed unbeaten on 61 from 45 balls. Their 108-run partnership set the tone for the chase.

For Meerut, Kartik Tyagi and Yash Garg picked up one wicket each. But the Rudras were too strong on the night.

Karan Sharma was named Player of the Match for his explosive knock that sealed the title.
