“Still in touch with Yuzi” – Ex-Wife Dhanashree Verma’s Big Statement After Divorce With Yuzvendra Chahal

Dhanashree Verma has broken her silence on life after separating from India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. Speaking in a candid chat with director Farah Khan, the dancer revealed that she continues to share a cordial bond with her former husband.

Farah, who has known the couple personally, asked Dhanashree if this was the first time she was living alone. “First, you were staying with your parents, then with Yuzi after marriage. Both of you even came together to my party,” Farah reminded her.

Dhanashree replied that things had now settled down between her and Chahal. “I am in touch with Yuzi on messages. He is sweet and used to call me maa,” she said, confirming that despite their divorce, the two remain connected.

While her personal life continues to draw attention, Chahal has been making headlines for different reasons. The leg-spinner turned out for Punjab Kings in IPL 2025 and impressed as one of their top bowlers.

However, he remains outside India’s current plans. Though Chahal was included in the squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup, he did not feature in any match under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy.
