Leaked After 18 Years! Raw Footage Of Harbhajan Slapping Sreesanth Shatters The Internet
Fans stunned as unseen video of Harbhajan Singh slapping Sreesanth in IPL 2008 surfaces after 18 years
The IPL’s most infamous scandal, the 2008 “slapgate” between Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth, has finally resurfaced in its raw, uncut form after 18 years.
For years, fans only heard stories of what happened after the Mumbai Indians vs Kings XI Punjab clash, but the actual video never came out.
Now, Lalit Modi, IPL’s founder and former chairman, has shared the unseen footage on Instagram, confirming what had long been speculated.
The clip shows Harbhajan, in MI colours, walking past the players before suddenly slapping KXIP pacer Sreesanth across the face.

Speaking to Michael Clarke on the Beyond23 Cricket Podcast, Modi revealed the video had been kept out of broadcast back then.
“It happened absolutely. Bhajji just looks at him and gives him a backhander. I had to penalise him for 8 games,” Modi said.
Harbhajan has repeatedly apologised over the years, but the video’s release has brought fresh attention to the ugly moment.
In a chat with Ravichandran Ashwin recently, the former off-spinner admitted it remains the “biggest regret” of his career.
“One thing I’d want to change in my life is that incident with Sreesanth. I apologised 200 times. Even his daughter once told me, ‘I don’t want to talk to you, you hit my father.’ That shattered me. I still apologise to her,” Harbhajan said.
The resurfaced footage has gone viral, reopening old wounds in what remains one of the darkest chapters in IPL history.
