Aryavir Sehwag and Aryaveer Kohli picked in DPL 2025 auction, join Central Delhi Kings and South Delhi Superstarz.
The DPL 2025 auction wasn’t just about big prices. It also had some famous surnames joining the league.
Virender Sehwag’s son Aryavir Sehwag and Virat Kohli’s nephew Aryaveer Kohli were both picked during the auction on Sunday.
Aryavir was bought by Central Delhi Kings. The same team also picked Simarjeet Singh for INR 39 lakh and Yash Dhull, building a strong core.
The franchise is looking to give a chance to young talents this season. Virender Sehwag was happy to see his son make it to the league.
“This is a great platform. Fans, selectors, and everyone is watching. I hope Aryavir enjoys and learns,” he said.
Aryaveer Kohli was picked by South Delhi Superstarz for INR 1 lakh. Though the price was low, the name created enough buzz. He will now join a squad that includes stars like Ayush Badoni and Digvesh Rathi.
While both Aryavir and Aryaveer are just starting out, all eyes will be on how they perform on the big stage. With famous last names and growing expectations, DPL 2025 will be a key step in their cricket journey.
