Thrown Out of IPL Commentary, Navjot Singh Sidhu Launches YouTube and Shocks Everyone With His New Avatar

Navjot Singh Sidhu, the former cricketer and popular commentator, has now turned YouTuber. After stepping away from IPL commentary, Sidhu launched his official channel Navjot Sidhu Official on Wednesday in Amritsar. And this time, he has made one thing very clear — there will be no politics involved.

“This channel will tell you everything about my life — my journey in cricket, spirituality, health, comedy, lifestyle, and motivation — but not politics,” Sidhu said during the launch.

Sidhu, known for his colourful personality and punchlines, is all set to share stories from his cricket days, his experiences in commentary, and even some spiritual thoughts. Fans can also expect plenty of his famous ‘Sidhuisms’ as he promises to go unfiltered, but with politics completely out of the picture.

The 60-year-old has worn many hats over the years — cricketer, commentator, comedy show judge, and politician. But with this YouTube journey, he says it’s personal.

“Only time will tell. But there will be no political content on my YouTube page. This is something I am doing for my daughter,” he said.

Sidhu also added that while his wife is still active in politics, he is now focusing on spreading inspiration and reflecting on his journey. “IPL commentary is a big part of my life — politics gave me satisfaction, but commentary gives me happiness,” he shared.

With his new channel, Sidhu aims to connect with fans who have followed him through his cricket innings, his mic sessions in the commentary box, and his laughter-packed TV appearances.
