The Indian cricket team will play the first Test in Adelaide from 17 December during the 4-match Test series on Australia tour and it will be a day-night match according to a report. As per ESPN Cricinfo, after the pink-ball Test at Adelaide Oval, the ‘Boxing Day’ Test will begin on 26 December at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

It seems that Cricket Australia has accepted the request of the BCCI for a difference of one week between the second and third Test. The third Test will be held in Sydney from 7 January while the last Test will be played in Brisbane from 15 January.

It is understood that India will play a 3-match series before the Test match and a T20 series of the same number of matches. One-day matches will probably be played on November 26, 28 and 30 in Brisbane while T20 matches will be played at Adelaide Oval on December 4, 6 and 8.

Around 25 to 27 member playing squad is set to travel to Australia post IPL final on November 10 and is expected to be allowed to train during their 14-day quarantine.

Considering the risk of coronavirus pandemic, strict corona rules will be implemented in these series, no player or support staff will be allowed to break the bio bubble.

India’s tour is likely, to begin with, the T20Is from November 27 followed by the ODI series from December 4, according to reports. On reaching Australia, the members of Team India will have to complete the prescribed quarantine period.
