Shubman Gill Slaps Media With Savage Reply To Disciplinary Action Rumours
There were rumours that Shubman Gill was being sent back to India due to disciplinary action.
Shubman Gill posted a heartwarming Instagram story featuring Rohit Sharma and his daughter Samaira in the Indian team’s hotel room in Florida. Gill mentioned that both he and Samaira are picking up discipline tips from Rohit.
Gill’s post follows reports that the Indian cricket team has taken disciplinary action against him, resulting in his being sent back to India along with Avesh Khan. There are also reports of a rift between the young batting star and Rohit Sharma.
Both Avesh and Gill will return from the USA and not travel to the West Indies as there are already sufficient backups available in case of emergency. However, Rinku Singh and Khaleel Ahmed will remain with the team.
The rumors of a strained relationship between Gill and captain Rohit were gaining momentum. However, Gill’s recent post might have put an end to these speculations.
