IND vs PAK: Virat Kohli Dismissed for Only the 2nd Time by Pakistan in T20 World Cup History
Virat Kohli has the most runs against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup history for India.
Pakistan managed to strike an early blow in their high-stakes T20 World Cup 2024 match against India on Sunday, dismissing batting stalwart Virat Kohli for a mere 4 runs.
The dismissal, delivered by young pacer Naseem Shah, was only the second time Virat Kohli has been dismissed in his entire T20 World Cup career against Pakistan.
It all happened on the third delivery of the 2nd over at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. Naseem Shah’s delivery wasn’t a peach – a short and wide ball outside off stump. However, it deceived the usually imperious Kohli.
The Indian batter reached out for a lofted shot over point, but the ball held up a touch and took a subtle nick off the toe end, flying straight into the hands of Usman Khan at point.
