Indian Fans Will Cross Wagah Border to Watch IND vs PAK in Lahore During ICC Champions Trophy 2025

PCB says that Indian fans will cross the Wagah Border to watch their team play in ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Pakistan is all set to host the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025, proposing three potential venues: Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi. However, a major question looms: Will India travel to Pakistan for the tournament, given the long-standing political tensions between the two nations?

Bilateral cricket series between India and Pakistan have been non-existent for years, with encounters limited to ICC events. While Pakistan visited India for the 2023 World Cup, India’s last tour of Pakistan was way back in 2008.

In a bid to minimize travel disruptions and potential issues, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has proposed a unique solution: hosting all of India’s matches at a single venue, specifically Lahore.

The Pakistan Cricket Board is hoping that organizing all India matches in Lahore will allow Indian fans to easily cross the Wagah border and watch their team play in the prestigious tournament.

However, despite PCB’s optimism, India’s participation in Pakistan remains uncertain. The chances of a full-fledged visit appear slim, and alternative solutions like a hybrid model or shifting India’s matches to a neutral venue are more likely scenarios.
