Australia pacer Mitchell Starc was left frustrated when Steve Smith dropped a sitter at second slip, giving West Indian skipper Kraigg Brathwaite another life on Day two of the second Test match between Australia and West Indies.
Starc set the stage for an opportunity on the final delivery of the 5th over, but it slipped through Smith’s fingers. The Australia pacer delivered a well-pitched full ball just around off, prompting Brathwaite to lunge forward in defence.
However, the ball caught the outside edge and headed towards Steve Smith, who fumbled it while leaning forward for the catch. Starc wasn’t too pleased with the incident as he strolled back to his mark, shaking his head in disbelief.
